We had a client that needed the ability to use the camera on mobile phones and tablets to scan barcodes and QR codes in order to locate technical documents related to products and machinery. The mobile app developed not only scanned barcodes and QR codes but also documents and machine labels using OCR to extract text and search for relevant content.

The administrative side of the application includes the ability to tag content with related codes, descriptions and keywords for searchability. There is also the capability to generate QR codes which are then printed and placed on machinery so users can quickly scan parts of machines to instantly access the related technical documents.
