Voice Commands and Searching

This project incorporated cognitive services to provide voice features in a mobile app that accessed thousands of pieces of content. Using only their voice users could navigate the site and search for relevant content.

Speech to text was used to translate the user’s spoken requests into plain text that could then be applied against the existing search algorithm in a seamless manner. Voice commands were mapped by the API and then turned into site navigation calls handled by the JavaScript layer.
